If you are from Southern California, chances are you know of KTLA anchorman Hal Fishman. Fishman was the last of the classy newsmen who come from the old school of delivering the news and not the hype. Fishman had covered every major event in Los Angeles in the last 50 years. His station, KTLA announced Tuesday that Fishman died at the age of 75.
I remember Hal Fishman from growing up in Southern California. As the news changed and tried to become hip in the last 10 years or so, Fishman remained true to television journalism.
