What’s going on with Eastern Market?

DC’s beloved Eastern Market fell victim to fire a few months back. In the aftermath of the fire many of the vendors who have had shops inside the markets for generations, have had to relocate. In a major show of community support, Washingtonians have been donating time and money to see the rebuild effort through.

But as we get back to our normal routine, what happens to the Eastern Market and the rebuild effort behind it.

The team behind the Rebuild Eastern Market website, have a put together and maintained a great blog that aggregates news stories and other accounts of the market at the rebuilding process. Check it out and give a little if you can.  So far the community has donated $353,000.
