Irvine Fire: 10/23 update

Update: The LA Times has an updated piece on the Santiago fire in Irvine and Orange County.

Aricswebsite has some AMAZING photos from the fire from the Santiago Fire. The photos make the area look like the area is under attack by lava flow.

From the OC Register’s Fire page:

Fire officials have pulled back helicopters from Modjeska Canyon, where at least two homes have burned, after deciding that conditions were too dangerous to keep them in the air. Firefighters have also pulled back from the area.
