Less than two thousand voted because the powers that be decided to hold a limited axis caucus. Only elected officials and precinct chairs were eligible. After the decision was made two campaigns actively encouraged their supporters to sign up for the empty chair positions. Romney won Ron Paul came in second. Any guesses as to which two campaigns got the word out. Montana will still have a primary for the rest of us (some of whom still don’t realize their votes have no impact). The powers that be wanted to be more significant–lasted two days. Guess the joke is on them.
