Since 5:00 yesterday same-sex marriage has been legal in the state of California and the world has not ended. I have to admit, I got a bit choked up when I saw that the first legal same-sex marriage was over-seen by a rabbi. I had so much pride that the one of (if not the) first marriage was in the Jewish faith.
And on the same day that marriage equality came to California, Norway seems to have adopted the same equality. Hopefully our entire country will follow the lead of Massachusetts, California and Norway and finally allow two people who love each other marry.
Also being the exclusive home a legal same-sex marriage without residency requirements, California is looking forward to a economic boon!
